Cirque Dreams: Holidaze Atlantic city Theatre reviews
Daltrey and Claptop
Great Cirque Dreams: Holidaze show. This may have been their best, I've seen the WHO twice. Great mix of songs, standing and just sittin and playin'. Their voices sounded great and built for longevity. Some reviews said they don't play much to the crowd, bantering, etc. They never did and don't need to, their music does the talking. GREAT show. Roger Daltrey is hardly a WHO fan and named our newest puppy, Daltrey. Simon Townshend did quite well despite being 66 today! I thought it was a good mix and as usual, high energy. Pete's vocals and guitar were missed but performed vey well.
A must see!
Chrisette Michele pleasantly surprised me by opening the show with an amazing voice.
I partied with Musiq and got my girl band and dancers on.
The only problem was that Musiq's mic wasn't loud enough during his show.
Cirque Dreams: Holidaze came out last, and man can he SANG!
Despite his leg problem and being on crutches, he didn't stop "shouting" in the isle during Praying For You.
I loved the show overall, despite the open pavilion.
A lot of sound escaped, giving some people across the river a free concert.
That's why I rated it a 4*.
Amazing Steelers
Overall, the Cirque Dreams: Holidaze D in 09 game was a great win, but one that never should have been that close. Our running game showed promise with Rashard Mendenhall, who was demoted last week for not knowing his assignments. The Steelers turned over the football and the game complexion changed, especially with Stefan Logan's contribution. You would think a 28-0 lead would be enough to take away any exciting finish, but the fourth quarter meltdown continued. Ryan Mundy did not execute the strategy to secure the ball on an onside kick and secure the game. Let's tame the Lions on Sunday and get back to a tie for second and 1 game out of first place. Go Steelers @2-2.
Thomas Rhett was awesome!!!!
Absolutely amazing was this concert!! A great show was put on by Cirque Dreams: Holidaze. Everything about it I loved: the lights, the smoke, the way the stage was set up, the way he interacted with the crowd, his singing, etc. Very personable and grateful for his fans he seems. I would recommend his show to everybody definitely. There I saw all different ages of fans. In concert again I would love to see him. Nice too was the venue, especially with the renovations they've done (and are still working on). Hopefully, more concerts now that they're renovating it will have the Charleston Civic Center Colosseum.
